About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
**Removed link to ad, will keep the photos up the rig is pretty cool still, but was marked as a Scam post. Which happens quite a bit on all levels. We try to vet them out as best possible. Thanks.
1946 Jeep Willys $1,750Columbia City, IN
Andy’s Picks but this is a neat set up, needs some work, but the price point is not bad for a unique jeep.
Information from seller:
I have a nice 1946 Willys jeep truck for sale for parts or restoration. Has 4 cylinder engine. Manual transmission. Snow.plow along with pump assembly. 4×4..has title. Open to trades or cash. Let me know if you have something you want to put towards trading or cash or both. Pick up in Columbia city Indiana 46725. Could possibly deliver within 60 miles for a fee. Time to buy a one of a kind Willy’s jeep truck.
Andy’s Picks, some of my notes Listed as 1953, I have this one at 1958 again today, due to the gauges, roof, trim, rear gate, windshield. Could be a later ’57. Now if the title is a ’53, then it’s a ’53 all day.
Information from seller:
This rare wagon has had many many repairs done. Many can be seen in the pictures but include rebuilt transmission and transfer case, new brakes and master cylinder (still won’t stop on a dime), rebuilt original radiator, rebuilt carburator, and many other items. The motor is a 226 Super Hurricane and runs reasonably well. No body work has been done as I concentrated on the mechanical side of things. The body is solid with the usual rust that these old wagons have. It comes with many spare parts. This is actually a mix of two wagons that I had. One was very rusty but had many good parts that I used on this one. This included the front and rear axles, the hood and the rear hatches. I have the rear upper hatch but I had it dipped and didn’t get it primed so it has some surface rust on it. I have new rubber for the back glass. But is in good condition. I rebuilt the t4 transmission and also the transfer case. I rebuilt the emergency brake, and all four brakes and had the drums turned.
Andy’s Picks- CJ-5 Dually farm jeep with half cab in OH
Information from seller:
Rare find. 1964 ish(No title) CJ5 Dually with Monroe 3 point lift and pto. Ag Jeep. Still a project. Runs drives does not stop. Good tires. Hydraulic system mostly there needs finished. Has a Novi engine governor for pto work. Many new parts alternator battery carb new piston rings and head gasket. electronic ignition. Has a front blade mount with hydr. up and down. Body is fair as is paint. Has a few dents. Koenig half cab , new fuel tank, new master, new exhaust. Frame was plated with 1/4″ plate from the factory for strength. Also has coil helper springs in rear. should be able to handle 3pt attatchments better than most of the old ag jeeps. Plenty of work to do but worth the effort. No title. have a extra rear axle for brake parts. No trades.
Andy’s Picks. My take this is a nice looking Empire, listed a few weeks ago but its still up so we can atleast post it up for folks to maybe take a shot at this one and see if its still around.
Information from seller:
1947 Empire tractor great tires Willy’s cj2a engine, transmission, transfer case. s/n 5635. Build date 10-1947. It’s a 90 model. Only built for 2 years most were exported. Converted to 12v.
Also one of Andy’s picks,,,, here are some things I have noticed on the posting.
Listed as a 1950 in the ad but based on a number of things and besides it has a horrible picture of the data plate “which is right there!!!” either way, the smooth tall roof, has the split rear window, fresh air vent, and a large 0-9 later speedo, I’m putting this at 1958. If anyone else has a guess feel free.
The PTO Winch is way cool and also has the Ammeter and Oil Pressure Aux Gauges to complete the package. The thing is awesome and is just neat for the price, unfortunately it was listed a few weeks ago, so may be gone, you never know till you try to contact. Get the S/N off the plate and figure out the year.
Information from seller:
Working on correct year model. New tires. Standard transmission. Was driven here 20 years ago and driven around the yard till put inside. New tires put on to move out of building to sell. Things stored inside are not included. Does not run. Lots of rusted areas. The engine will rotate with the starter with battery but the water pump will not. No title. Bonded title needed to register for lic. Cash only.
Andy sent over a nice collection of Willys parts, there are various posts and links some really good stuff out there for sure. Thanks Andy for sending these over.
Warn overdrive $600 Cottonwood, CA
Out of a 1958 Jeep T 90 transmission with Dana 18 Transfer case 29 tooth gear.
Jeep Willy bed trailer going to need a new bearing for one of the wheels and and lights replaced Make reasonable offer no it’s not a dollar Not sure of the year
Tim’s Tip > Looks like a later model at least from the tailgate, but it’s listed as a 1956 but they also state they don’t know the year of the bed. There is a different configuration for the under bed bracing, the earlier beds have 5 supports under the bed floor that run left to right only, the later beds have a little different set up in the back where there is a smaller boxed out support that runs front to back and provides a set up for the change in fuel tanks.
Here is an example of an early Truck Bed, the later boxed out the tank as it was shifted to one side vs the early being across the back of the frame. Photo from www.OldWillysForum.com

Selling for some. It’s a 1948 Willys Jeep… Model Cj2a..3 speed …4 cylinder flat head …mileage on speedometer is 37,339. Took 2 years to build the jeep. Have title in hand. I have spent a lot of money getting it to be what it is today.
Show is coming up quickly, in addition to the normal goodie bag for entrants. I will be out there and will have some small things to give to any Willys folks who stop by and check out the show. You don’t need to bring a Willys it’s a great family friendly event. Hope to see you there.
This is an awesome show, we had a few Willys out last year and had a good time for a great local organization. I’ve been going last 6 years as a volunteer. Mars Wrigley does a wonderful job and always lots of give aways and family friendly event.
