About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is priced at $39 with free shipping. It’s a neat piece, especially the first page with the Willys Overland Motors Canfield custom book wrecker model XH-205.

Mark shared the news that the First Annual Jeep Nationals in Kentucky will be giving away a CJ-3A for the price of a $10.88 raffle ticket. You can buy tickets online through the website until November 1,2020. The drawing will be held November 8, 2020.
The ticket price of $10.88 makes for a great deal, but note that the body appears to have had some work on it.
“Win a 1949 Jeep Willy if you purchase the winning raffle ticket to be given away at the 1st Annual Jeep Nationals (raffle sponsored by Gregory A. Ousley, Attorney at Law PLLC).
Tickets are on sale now for the drawing to be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at around 2 pm EST at Burnside Island. You do not need to be present to win. Chances of winning depend on how many tickets are sold. Charitable Gaming License #ORG0002148.
Due to postal regulations, raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the internet. When your order is placed, we will complete the ticket by filling in the name, address and phone number, and we will drop the ticket in the barrel at Somernites Cruise. At the drawing, the winner will be contacted based on the name and information on the ticket. Purchasers do not need their ticket stubs for any reason. However, the stubs will be kept on file with Somernites Cruise.
Purchasers can call Somernites Cruise at (606) 872-2277 and obtain their ticket number if so desired. Face value of each ticket is $10.00. (Additional cost beyond the face value is to offset the electronic transaction fee.) Online ticket sales will cease on November 1, 2020.”

“In 1952 my Father and myself purchased this Jeep from Bernstein Bros a farm and ranch supplier in Pueblo, Colorado. Bernstein Bros purchased several islands in the Pacific after WWII and brought items back as salvage. Not sure but feel this vehicle was in the Pacific. My Father was a master restorer of old vehicles and rebuilt the engine during the winter of 52-53 and made any repairs necessary. The Jeep is titled Ford and has all F bolts but the engine says Jeep on it. The Jeep is almost stock and the only changes that were made was the addition of push plates on the front bumper and a tow bar. Also lockout hubs were added an altitude meter in the dash was installed and an electric fuel pump. I never found the shovel and the axe that mounts on the drivers side. I have all of the owners manuals that came with it.
In 1953 the Jeep was moved to our summer home in South San Juan mountains just south of Alamosa, Colorado and has been kept there in a garage for the last 67 years. The odometer now shows around 43,000 miles and it had many of them before the overhaul. Our summer home is only accessible in the summer and we use the Jeep for hunting and fishing during the summer months only.
I will be able to get back to our cabin by early May to retrieve the Jeep and it will be available then. The Jeep runs very well and has been used but never abused. It does need a wheel alignment there is a little shimmy at 30 MPH.”
