Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I bought this 1967 Cj5 a few years ago as a project for my son and I, it was not running at the time. We kind of lost interest but it now runs good, drives, and stops. Have driven it around the yard and shouldn’t take much more to be road worthy. Has Dauntless 225v6, D18 transfer case, T86 3 speed transmission, new tires, radiator, Pertronix ignition, alternator, fuel pump, fuel tank, seats, headers and mufflers. This is a steel body that has been worked. Has not been registered for many years but do have a title for it. Have a collection of many extra parts to go as well that came with it when I bought it, differentials, transfer cases, transmissions, axles, spare Dauntless, etc. I’m sure someone with more knowledge of old jeeps would know what the usage would be. This is a good project Jeep.”

These re only the side panels and doors. These could be handy if you have the remaining hardtop parts. This should fit a Sears/Allstate half-top.

Has a problem with 3rd gear, but still looks like it might be a good price. According to one Facebooker, it may already be sold.

These two two-page brochures from the Venture Manufacturing and Implement Company appeared in an early Willys-Overland Equipment Book. One advertises a “spiketooth” harrow, while the other advertises a “springtooth” harrow.

“1953 Jeep Good condition. 5 new tires , battery, carburetor, brakes , paint, 12 volt alternator, exhaust.”
DOD 1/14/42. Plates are in pretty good shape, but they are installed on a glove box door. MB 111050 with DOD of 1/13/42 is a non-glove box slat grille. It’s therefore very possible the plates on the jeep below were originally on a different jeep (or body). Includes a Bobcat hood.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
The bed has some rust.
“For Sale is a 1959 Willys Jeep FC170. The truck has a flathead Hurricane straight 6. The drivetrain is all there, but the engine is locked up and is not feasible to get running without a total rebuild. The truck would make a great engine swap candidate. There is some rust in the normal spots but is all very fixable. The frame is near perfect.
There is body damage, as shown in the pictures and the windshield needs to be replaced. It has a good title.
These trucks are getting hard to find. This is a project truck and a really solid starting point.”
