About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I have a 1949 willys CJ-3A I’ve decided to sell. It has been restored to original condition by previous owner. Jeep has a new black soft top from Besttop. This little jeep performs and looks outstanding!”
“1954 Willys CJ3B 4×4 2nd year with the Hurricane, overhead valve motor. It has the flat fenders and taller hood. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt and the body is good. It has new seat covers, new water pump, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, lock-out hubs and good tires.
There are seat belts for 4 and it’s street legal.
Could be restored, hot rodded or driven as is.”
UPDATE: This is actually the 2nd Oneida hardtop found with a flat fender in the Spokane area (other is here). Maybe someone was converting them at the Air Force Base west of Spokane?
This top surprised me. It has a date plate! It seems to be some kind of manufactured-for-the-military hardtop. It’s made by the Oneida Products Corp. out of Oneida, New York. The manufacture date is August 1951.

“I have a jeep FC 170 that I picked up with the intention of giving new life.
Sadly, too much life and too many projects have thwarted my intentions.
It was in rough shape when I got it and I haven’t touched it since I unloaded it some years ago. It is a serious undertaking if you were to try to bring this back to life, lots of rust and I don’t believe the engine is reusable though I don’t know that for certain.
I’d like to try to find it a home where it gets some sort of use before its no good to anyone. I wish I had been able to get to it myself.
I’m not sure on the value honestly. That is something I would happily discuss with a seriously interested party. They are tough to find but this one is rough, sadly.
I don’t have a title. It would come with a Bill of Sale, in NH, ME that and a vin verification are all that’s needed to reg to it wasn’t a problem for me. It looks like it was last registered in 2005 in VT.
I’m happy to answer questions but seeing it in person is going to give you the most info I think.
Thanks.”
