These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Cj2a willys jeep ,1948 , restored ,new exhaust,new gas tank,did brakes, engine ,new carburetor, body got paint…….ready to run ….all Gage’s work …still 6 volt system on lights and battery.8400 OBO. If interested come look it over ‘,,,,,’,, not sending pile of pics oh has brand new tires too”
“1946 Willys, very early civilian, completely restored. Rare column shift. New items Stock: Tub, Fenders, Windshield, Seats, suspension. Rebuilt items: Motor original flat head “Go Devil.” Rebuilt Tranny, Rebuilt Transfer, Rebuilt differentials. Original rims and new tires. New additions to stock that can be easily removed. Overdrive unit, Lock out hubs, Best Top Soft top, Aftermarket Heater, turn signals and lights, LED windshield mounted light, electric wipers, vacuum booster for stock brakes. Frame was sand blasted, treated for future rust and painted. Body was treated for future rust and painted. Way too much work to mention here also have the original tub, additional tranny, motor parts, transfer case, diff parts fuel tanks and body parts.
What don’t work: small oil leak in filter line, Speedometer. The speedo had been changed so we trusted it, alas we shouldn’t have. All new cables though and gear etc.”

“I have a rolled 1950 CJ3. I bought it from the gentlemen who was hit while driving it and subsequentially rolled. I have replaced a few of the panel and worked on some of the mechanical however I do not have the time for it and would like to create space in my carport. It does run and I do have more parts for it and yes I have the title.

SBC v8 conversion. I started it on a bottle when I got it. It is not running as is. I don’t know anything else about it or the transfer case. It’s on the rough side, but would make a fun mud truck. bill of sale.

“I am selling a 1953 Jeep Willys CJ3b. Jeep is out of California until 2010 where it made its way to the northeast. Minimal rust, two spots the size of a 5 inch square on both floors by feet. Thats it.
The vehicle was undercoated many years ago, of which is peeling like crazy off the bottom of the tub and fenders. Literally comes off in sheets, by hand. Nice grey gloss paint underneath. That grey is the original grey and I think its called swan grey.
The motor was just gone through, including less than .002 taper on each cylinder, rods, pistons and main bearings are all standard and have never been over sized. Cylinders were honed and new standard rings were installed, only because the original rings had become brittle and I snap a few when removing.
