This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Was bought as the body, but my grandfather spent a couple of years working on it. He is no longer able to get in and out of it. It has a 4.3 GMV6 engine, new leaf springs, new differential, new tires, power steering, tilt steering wheel, hubs, bucket seats, new tie rods, new shocks, and an aftermarket 14 gallon gas tank. Only needs a gas gauge sending unit.”
The seller listed this as a 1947, but it’s got a 1948 Lefty body.

Seller wants gone. I could use a few of the parts: front bumper, the part of the dash that goes under the dash and around the steering wheel, horn if there, the heater (if any good), the door opening mechanism .. would anyone want the rest of this? If I go get it I don’t want to keep it around for too long.
