About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“RUSSIAN military “JEEP” 1971 GAZ 69 M , powered by Mercedes-Benz diesel engine. Customs Clearance Import Document and bill of sale, sale as is. NO trade! Cash Only. I am selling it as is.”
“Project CJ3A for sale. Purchased 3 years ago and have restored it a long way from what it was. Still not road ready, but runs very well and brake system completely redone.
Wheels & tires purchased new in 2015 and have <100 total miles on them. Only have ever driven this Jeep up and down my private road.
Engine is not original to this 3A. It is from a 40’s MB.
Tub has patchwork from previous owner as well as some spotty welds. It is not so much rust as it is just wear and tear over the years. At quick glance it looks relatively clean but under close inspection you can see the patches and holes.
Included is a box of new and used parts I have collected and been meaning to install over the past few years. I removed the roll bar off the back a while ago but that is included as well. 4 brand new shocks also included.
I don’t have the right resources to do this job the way it should be done, which is why I am moving on from it. In the right hands it will be a great project.
I have a lot of information and records recording the money, parts and work that have been put into the jeep. Email or message for more info and details”
“Mostly complete. Will need a complete restoration or would make a good parts vehicle to complete a restoration already in progress. It has frame rust on divers side but it could be repaired. The transmission moves freely. The motor is in unknown condition and will not turn. At one time this jeep was in a forestry department (shield and numbers visible). What is shown in pictures is all that is available & reflect condition.
I have kept this jeep for 4 years and have not had time to restore her. $995 cash – I am not flexible on price and am not looking for a nostalgic conversation. Please only contact me if you are seriously interested, I know this Jeep will move quickly. I have paperwork but no title since its an antique car, can provide a bill of sale.”
“1942 Ford GPW built in Chester PA. Has original glove box door with data plates that are rough but readable and matching frame serial #. Clear KY title. I disassembled it. Obviously it needs body work and new floor. Frame needs to be repaired in spots. Fenders and frame have F’s. Has MB engine with gpw head, trans and transfer case, axles, fenders, hold, grille. Missing firewall, but I have one that goes with it. I bought it with another one as a pair. Only have time and room to restore one. WWII Jeeps are getting hard to find. If interested let me know.”
“Genuine unrestored GPW World War 2 Army Jeep with PA title.Needs restoration.Has Ford script on tailgate, matching numbers.Early 14000’s serial number.”
“Because of my age I have given up on restoring a farm jeep
Spicer 18 H PTO Unit The unit has new bearings and seal installed
Asking 195.00 plus shipping if needed”
(01/13/2019) This M-38A1 is equipped with some Runck manufactured body protectors (the black three black strips on each side of the jeep) and a Runck rear bumper (and possibly front bumper).
“1955 WILLYS M38A1 FRAME OFF RESTORATION, NEW REPRODUCTION TUB, LINE-X INTERIOR TUB, REBUILT ENGINE F134, FRONT DISC BRAKES, ELECTRONIC REGULATOR 24 VOLT SYSTEM,”
“1950 to 52 m38 Willy’s Jeep.complete rolling chase.frame is in very good shape.body was junk, some parts appear to be cj parts.previos owner said engine overheated and seized up so I am not sure about the engine.quite sure though that it is a military m 38 because of place for second battery for 24 volt and also the large fuel opening.I have a running m38 so I was able to do a lot of comparisons”
