Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I thought I’d seen this for sale, but I didn’t find it in my archives.
“This is a custom Willys Jeep pickup that has been shortened and made into a convertible. It has original transmission and transfer case. It has a Ford 261 v8 witch is the predecessor to the 289. It has no rust and it also comes with a working PTO winch! I hate to sell it but I have a couple other projects I’m trying to finish and I’m a disabled vet so with Christmas on the way I need the cash! I have a like new set of nice tires I will throw in if someone gives close to my asking price! This thing has had a lot of work put into it!”

This is rough. It might have Allstate or Husky hubs. The windshield is either missing the soft top channel or it’s a DJ-3A convertible windshield. Has a flathead.
