About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rare – 1950 Willys Overland Jeep Wagon from California! 2 wheel drive but comes with two sets of 4×4 axels and the transfer case. Very-very little rust with the optional Lightning 6 motor and 3 speed manual with very-rare overdrive! Lots of spare parts!”
If you are looking for a non-stock 2A body, this could work. It’s one of the repro CJ bodies with the passenger side tool indents and military-like glove box on the passenger side of the dash.
“cj2a willys jeep body reproduction steel perfect condition cost close to 4000 new selling for 2000.dollars. This body was never installed on a jeep yet. firm price”
“Up for sale is a 1949 cj3a. Has a complete drivetrain and good frame. Body is there, but rough. There is no paperwork for this jeep. Great project or parts”
“Still trying to figure out exactly what this is. Suspected to be extended for military medical use. No title. Not running but was recently. Will consider trades for a vehicle capable of towing a trailer well long distance”
UPDATE: Back in 2012 I ran across a pic of this CJ-5 on Flickr (1st one shown below). Now, thanks to rob, we have a series of photos of this North Carolina CJ-5, custom built by the owner. Sure looks handy!
“This is a 1958 Kaiser Willy’s Jeep that I purchased in 2014. It is all original including the original F4-134 Hurricane Engine. Its got a 3 speed transmission (first gear is a crash box, so you have to not be moving to get it into first). The 4wd works well. The hubs are manual locking.
I have only done a tune-up as well as replace the fuel pump to the motor. I also added a newer stereo and new seats including a back seat with seat belts. There was a red bakini top that came with it, I don’t use it, but will throw it in with a sale. There are also some misc. pieces and parts that I will give the buyer.
The jeep starts right up year after year and is always garage kept. It top’s out at around 35mph, but has a nice granny gear for going up steep hills. As far as I can tell, the jeep spent most of its life in Truth or Consequences New Mexico. The odometer reads ~5700 miles, but I believe the entire speedometer assembly may have been switched out at one point prior to my ownership, so I don’t know if it represents actual mileage The jeep only gets a few miles put on it per year under my ownership. It has very little rust considering its age.”

“1953 CJ – 3B Willys Jeep. Purchased to rebuild and make road worthy, started the job but I’m not able to do the work. Willys has hard top original to it. Engine lift and stand, crawler and additional items included to facilitate working on it.
Will need to be towed.
Cash sale only.”
“1951 jeep willys Cj3a jeeps brakes are not work, engine turns by hand, has PTO case and winch, the jeep was kinda restored once in the early 2000s and given to my grandpa, he has no use for it anymore. If interested make an offer. Call or text, I don’t look at emails often.”
