“1948 Willy’s JEEP CJ2A just in time for hunting season, this jeep is in good condition with many new parts including:
new carburetor
new fuel tank
new sending unit
new gauges
new tires
new water pump
rebuilt radiator
new hoses
updated wiring harness

The new carb and tank are installed and just need to be plumbed up, a few odds and ends need addressing with most all parts needed are included with the sale. The JEEP will be conveyed with a bill of sale, however the VIN plate is still present (rare for old JEEPS) so you can apply for a bonded title which cost $350 and some paperwork. The JEEP is priced right and with a little work could easily be worth twice as much.”

First Issue of the KW Booster Newspaper

• CATEGORIES: Features, Old News Articles • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

This December 1954 Volume I, Issue I was the first issue of the ‘new’ KW Booster News, a monthly newspaper designed to inform employees. Updates would include the newest announcements, company updates, employee updates (such as the new profit sharing model), and  intra-company events (such as intramural bowling teams). This first issue introduces the brand new CJ-5, among other announcements.

I’m not sure how many issues of the KW Booster were published. The only other issue of this newspaper on eWillys is the June 1958, Vol. 2, No. 1.

That is the head bolt shank is 7/16″ (.437”) in diameter X 14 THREADS PER INCH ONLY. ENGINE APPLICATION IS ON PHOTO #3. ALSO the instructions show what headbolt location to use with your engine.
