About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1957 Willys Jeep FC-150. If you want to blend in and not have your picture taken as you drive by, move along, nothing to see here. Truck runs well although out of inspection but should pass. Coolest car on island? Perhaps. 4wd with Warn locking hubs. Original hurricane 4, Dana 25 and Dana 44 axles, this will do 43mph and will infuriate the swells in Range Rovers on Milestone, not to mention the insane Wave “drivers” doing 65 around curves. Note the engine access in the cabin…you can adjust your carburetor while driving (and I frequently do). Truck restored 9 years ago, good for a freshening up. A driver….ready for the weekly dump runs or to get huge attention for your business. Award winner at the Daffodil Parade. Rare vehicle in driving condition. $7500 takes it. Have clear MA title”
“Item 1. I have for sale a February 1942 Willys Slatgril jeep. The frame is rusted through. It has no title. It does have both axles, drive shafts, hood, grill, left fender, windshield, tub, frame, springs, torque reaction spring, three gauges(gas gauge, oil pressure, amp gauge), speedometer, glove box door with data plates and brass windshield latches. This jeep is rough, but very rare and very restore-able. Frame and glove box door tag match 122025 on data plate and frame.
Item 2. In this sale also is a pair of original ford ww2 axles 3075 and 4025(front and rear) from anther 1942 gpw.
Item 3.There is also a 1943 willys M B tub with good frame.
Item 4.The third tub also in this sale is a willys mb tub that has been stripped and ready to repair.
I would trade this for a Ramsey PTO Model 50 winch complete setup.”

UPDATE: I’ve added pics of Blaine’s father’s knife set at the bottom of the post.
This brochure let recipients know that they’d get a free knife if they went for a demonstration ride at the local Ross Motors, INC, out of Rockland, Maine.
Blaine’s father received a knife set when he bought his 1959 CJ-5. It still looks in good shape sixty years later.
This 1956 ad touting ten billion kilometers of transportation service is a rare ad promoted by the Willys-Overland Export Corporation only (no mention of Willys Motors).
“This is an original 1956 print ad for Jeep! It measures approximately 14″ x 10″ overall, has no stains or tears, comes from a dry, high-altitude, smoke-free environment, and is strictly graded”
Blaine spotted this postal jeep article from last year. I’ve added my comments (read corrections) to it, but the author hasn’t approved it as of the writing of this post.
