This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This ad was published on December 13, 1956, in the Healdsburg Tribune by local jeep dealer Leo Frediana and Son.
The next month a similar FC-150 Ad was published in the Madera Tribune on January 11, 1957, by the Slavich Brothers:

“I have owned this jeep since 1967! Yes, that is correct 52 years! Did a rebuild with the original flat head 4, then modified in 1972 to a 307 Chevy V-8, 4 speed T90 manual trans, Hurst shifter, overdrive, CJ5 front and rear end. Still has drum brakes which work well. I would love to keep it (why not?!) but we are moving later this year and it’s time for her to find a new loving home. Runs great, current motor has approximately 15,000 miles on it.”

Not fast but climbs like a goat! I built it to keep but we dont drive it much anymore, Tagged & insured. Not positive on miles. Serious buyer only.”
