About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rare 1954 M38A1C has all the right suspension and accessory brackets for recoilless rifle.
Runs good, new brakes, working lights and gauges.
Needs tires.
I do not have the rifle and it is not titled.”
“This Jeep has been in my family for over 40 years. I have owned it for over 20. It has new battery, water pump, starter, and ignition coil. This has never been titled. Comes with a bill of sale if you want to title. Great for the deer lease of off-road parks. Has a new removable tow bar, spray in bed liner in the tub, large Ramsey winch. 2wd/4wd hi/low all work as designed. This has been converted to a 12 volt electrical system like the CJ Jeeps”
“This is a 1975 jeep CJ six. This is a pretty rare jeep. It is about 11 inches longer than a CJ seven. And this is the precursor to the Jeep scrambler. It has a 304 inch Motor with a four speed manual transmission. I was told it has an overdrive transmission. The axles have been upgraded. It has some rust in the floor. And some rust in the body mounts underneath. It has rust but it’s not a rust bucket. It has dual exhaust with glass packs and the tires are like new. The jeep does run and drive. It drives lik an old Jeep. The steering needs addressed. It is loose at the steering box. The jeep also smokes. I believe oil is leaking down the valve stem’s so new valve stem seals will need installed in the head. It’s just on the passenger side head so not a lot of work or cost at the machine shop. A pin is broken in the rear axle so it’s front wheel drive right now. Continue reading →

At least the add doesn’t claim this jeep is “all original”. Nice to see a set of civilian top bows nicely stored in the CJ-2A bow holders. The body appears to have had the rear wheel wells replaced.

“Needing to sale my 1946 Willys jeep project. Had ideas of making a rock crawler but life sometimes gets in the way.
Its already been cut out to fit a bigger transmission plus have a lot of spare original parts, will be a great project or parts.”
