This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’m not sure if the floors have been fiberglassed or painted with some type of heavy floor sealer (or both).

The front bumper area has been modified and it doesn’t appear to have combat rims.

“Willys Jeep FC170 Forward Control. These are very rare, most people have never seen one. They were built from 1956-1965. Super Hurricane six, Rare four speed. All original running gear. Motor does turn over. It has sat many years inside an enclosed building. Probably needs Carb cleaned , new fuel pump, gas tank cleaned, New belts, hoses. Needs brakes checked. It rolls easy so it can be loaded on a trailer. I can assist with loading or shipping.
The back glass is not in it, but it is included. The gas tank was removed( I assume for cleaning)and is included with brackets. I have the extended front bumper and warn winch mounts. Everything is there except the frame covers that fit in front of the rear fenders. I think a sheet metal guy could make some easily. some of the stake bed brackets are rusted from holding leaves. Reproductions are available. Speedo is missing also.”
