This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This Willys classic “military style” Jeep is a “no Brainer.” It spent most of its life in Nevada and has NO RUST on either the frame or the body. Powered with the classic, 4 cyl. “Go Devil” gas engine running through the 3-spd transmission and 2-spd transfer case. Starts easy with 12v electronic ignition starter and runs as smooth as they come. So why am I selling it? I am too old, too heavy, too stiff and have bad knees and a bad lower back making enjoyment of this WWII era Army style Jeep nearly impossible. Time for a new owner.

“This is a great running jeep. I have owned it since 1970. Don’t have any use for it anymore but would like to see it go to someone that will use it. It has a PTO winch on the front that I have used to pull out my tractor, pull down trees, pull up stumps and many other things. It starts and runs great. I use to run it on the highway but I think those days are over unless you put a lot of money into it. It is just a hard worker around the ranch. I have the windshield frame but the glass is broke so it would need some work to put back on. It has been in the family for 50 years. We call it little red and I really hate to let it go.”

“I have for sale a 1953 Willys Jeep CJ3B that is all original.
134 c.i. “F”head engine( first year for the overhead valve F head). Starts and runs. 6 volt system. Jeep has the original seats, soft top frame, heater. engine,transmission, transfer case. All original, nothing changed or ” upgraded”!
This Jeep has a 6′ Meyer snowplow with electric lift.
Jeep starts and runs, four wheel drive/low range works, plow works as it should.
Body has usual rust for a 66 year old Jeep and has been patched but is not beyond restoration.
I have seen and patched lots worse Jeep bodies. Tailgate was rusted off, I welded in a steel panel
Brakes need repaired but this Jeep can be test driven around my shop.
