Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1950 WILLYS CJ-3A FOR SALE. RUNS GOOD AND IS VERY RESTORABLE. HAS THE FLAT HEAD 4 CYLINDER MOTOR AND 3 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSFER CASE IS THE 2 LEVER TYPE. IT HAS A FULL CAB AND A TOW BAR. IT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT. IT HAS AFTERMARKET CHROME WHEELS AND BIG O TIRES. I AM NOT SURE OF THE ACTUAL MILES ON IT. THE SEATS WILL NEED RECOVERED BUT THE FRAMES ARE OK AND THE REAR LIGHTS WILL NEED TO BE REWIRED. OTHERWISE A REAL GOOD OLD JEEP.”

Looks like a simple Dana 18, but I’m guessing it’s been modified based on the seller’s comment that the transfercase is worth more than the asking price.
“Hi guys looking to sell a Aluminum body sand dragster Jeep. It’s just a rolling chassis. There is no motor but does come with a direct drive transfer bolts right up to a BBC or SBC. Comes with a few parts. It’s definitely a project but be sweet for the drags or dunes. I’m asking $1800 O.B.O the transfer is worth more than that. And no trades please cash only”
