This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hello, I am selling a hard to find 1953 Willy’s 3b for my grandpa. He has had the vehicle since the 70s and has been a great vehicle for him. He started to rebuild the vehicle a few years ago but then had some health complications. It has all the parts for the vehicle. He has some new parts like a new gas tank, and a Buick 238 V6 that was rebuilt 3 years ago. It has lived it’s whole life in the desert so it has minimal rust compared to more humid environments’

Thanks to Maury, we can have a good laugh. He spotted this auction. Someone is trying to sell this brochure on eBay for $35,000, with bids starting at $25,000. I have this same brochure, but mine says “Willys Overland Export Company” instead of “Willys of Canada Limited Windsor Ontario” and costed me only $25.
