About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Listed as a 1951, this jeep has a replacement tub. It does not appear to have an M-38 frame; rather, maybe a CJ-3A frame with the PTO bar removed? This seems to be a mix of parts.
“Jeep has no rust. Is a Navy-issued jeep with plaques. Has granny gear. Needs battery and two new front seats. Call for milage and full VIN number (too long more than 17 characters). Jeep has original toolbox with tools, gas can on rear and full canvas top.”
“Fully rebuilt 1947 Jeep Cj2a. 134L flat head motor, starts and cranks up without flaw every time. Rebuilt transmission and four wheel drive. The entire body , inside and outside has been bed lined with legit Rhino lining. After market front bumper with winch mount spot and rear bumper with flag spot and tow hooks. After market more comfortable suspension seats with seat belts. Push button removable steering wheel to make getting in and out easier.
Fresh brakes and drums on all four tires. Brand new tires and rims from 2017 Jeep Rubicon. Custom made roll cage. Aftermarket full tank mounted in the bed to increase the fuel range. Legit title with registration. Would make a great jeep to ride around town on a sunny day or something that would be fun to take to the farm for the weekend. Price is negotiable, would also be interested in trading for 2000s model jeep.”
“Clear title . You don’t see these everyday or at car shows! Metal Jeep Willy’s body style produced by Volkswagen on a stout frame. body has rust but still solid transmission minus the motor. Disc brakes up front heavy duty 2”x 3”frame.
Rat rod hot rod project or restore to original. I have a 1500 single port motor that is complete but needs to be rebuilt I can add for 150.00 more
Trade for plasma cutter, generator, long springer forks or similar for a trike build what else do you have gold or silver”
“I have a 1942 Willys Bantam Trailer that is in Fair condition. It is a great trailer for camping or the foundation for a rooftop tent. Asking $1300 OBO. New Tires and paint.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150. It appears to be an M-151 hardtop.
Here’s an odd hardtop. The strange part is the odd inlet (fuel inlet of some kind?) on the passenger door at a place that would be incorrect for a jeep.
“Complete Spicer rear PTO unit for Jeep or Willy’s. Very rare and all the bearings and seals are good. Model 18-H. Works perfectly, see below video for unit running (it’s turning backwards and looks like it’s running slow due to video frame rate when I recorded it)”
Looks like a great price, maybe too good of a price. Something doesn’t seem right about this ad. Who advertises a mint M-38 by describing it with a “front tow package”? And, I’m not seeing an obvious tow package. This might be a scam ….
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. original engine / transmission / rear PTO. Original paint and no rust repair no patches, all original sheet metal in great condition. a couple small rust spots behind front fenders but not worth fixing in my opinion. I have put 200 miles on this in the last week. Runs and drives excellent. lights works, engine is tuned up, brakes gone through all around and newer Bias ply tires. Clean and clear Indiana Title in my name. If your reading this its still available. can assist with shipping if needed. I will not respond to the “is this available” text.”
