About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Here’s a hard-to-find 4 bbl Offenhauser intake for the Buick 225.
“I have a 4bbl intake manifold for a Buick 225 V6.
Was being used on a motor that threw a rod.
Comes with intake and exhaust manifold gasket sets. Had a minor repair to heater hose connection but does not effect use.
Pretty hard to find these anymore, inexpensive power increase.”
“1960 Willys Jeep FC170 is all original except the motor. It has a Chevy 307, 2 barrel. Three speed, four wheel drive. New Goodyear tires. I cleaned the gas tank, installed a new fuel pump, new points, condenser, rotary cap, distributor cap, New oil and filter, and new wires. I cleaned the carb and it fired right up. Some rust around the bed. I have already repaired the cab corners. Very rare to find the front bumper with bumperettes.
It needs brakes looked at. all glasswork is good except the drivers side glass. It has a plexiglass window that rolls up and down. These are very Rare jeeps, Only built from 1956 to 1965. There is a cult following for FC’s. This one is very complete. I had a leg injury that keeps me from going farther with restoration. I have other projects, so this one has to go. $7900 OBO. NO PayPal, No shipping. No personal emails. No Scams. Might consider trades that are ready to drive. (no projects)”
“1972 Suzuki LJ20
Pre samurai era
All original
Original 2 stroke engine
Right hand drive
4×4
Have many extra parts with spare engine
Have clean CA title
This is off road only, would need some work to make roadworthy
Great little hunting rig or back road cruising
Smaller than most side by side utv similar to an old willys Jeep”
The metadata suggests these are in Cedarburg, Wisconsin; However, the description states these are in Oregon (the state, not the town of Oregon, Wisconsin). The terrain suggests these are in eastern Oregon.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep with custom made roof. Title in hand, last on the road in 76, Motor is currently locked up, working on freeing it up then will work on getting it running”

I took a chance on eBay and bought a 1949 issue of the Goodyear’s Magazine for Men off of ebay that mentioned, in the ebay ad, about having an article on a Jeep Posse. The magazine turned out to be a sort-of marketing piece by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company focused on men and with several interesting articles. Below you’ll find two articles from the magazine and a quiz.
The first article is a pretty early article on Utah’s Bountiful Jeep Posse. The other article covers a man named John Fordon and his business in New York City called “Beck ‘n Call”. Finally, the Fordon article includes a quiz on streets from around the country, names as relevant to day as they were back in 1949.
And now, the article on Fordon. Also, note the “Where are they” quiz.
Thanks to Nic for spotting this one. Apparently this one was available for a short time at $2500. It’s now $6500. Only one pic. Looks like an interesting build.
“The real deal 1947 Willys CJ2A. The jeeps in really good shape given it’s age. For the most part it is stock. It was converted to 12 volt, but I have the 6 volt generator. It starts right up and runs great. Bestop top for it, isn’t in the pictures. Clean title. Collector plates. Tow bar. New shocks and brakes. Tires in great shape. Re-cored the radiator recently. It’s a fun ride. I always wanted one of these since I was a teenager. After playing with it for 10+ years, it’s time to pass it on to the next dreamer.”
“This cute Willys station wagon is a fun car with 3-speed column shift, overdrive and 2-wheel drive. No air conditioning, power steering or power brakes were available.
It is good looking, with no significant scratches, dings or rust. The paint, chrome and interior are good, it runs great and the ride is very pleasant.
Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, gauges, doors, windows and locks all work well, and she has new tires, brakes, kingpins and radiator. The engine starts easily cold or hot, the transmission shifts smoothly and she will cruise at 60 on the freeway, but is not allowed out in rain or snow.”
