About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This Willys powered Schramm generator looks in good shape. I’ve seen other Willys-Schramm products, but not anything this large.
“Old military schramm generator with a 40’s willys 4 cylinder jeep engine. I’ve had this for about 9yrs. It has been kept inside the whole time. I’ve installed new rims/tires and added a spare tire and mount.”
“I have this 1947 Willy’s that I’m trying to get rid of. I just don’t have the time to fix it or place to put it. It’s complete. It has everything. Just doesn’t run. Clean title.”
“1948 cj2a Willy’s Jeep project almost complete: new wiring (almost finished), fiber glass tub, fenders, hood all have been painted with Bed liner(quality stuff not junk), new brakes, motor was rebuilt by previous owner and runs, rebuilt trans, flywheel resurfaced, new clutch, gas tanks is good, new tail lights, new radiator, new alternator, newer starter, converted to 12 volt. 2 sets of wheels but needs tires, tires will hold air for a few hours. No rust! Need seats and very few things to be finished. Lost interest in this project, jeeps just aren’t my thing. No title!”
(12/06/2018) The jeep looks nice. Seller estimates that there are less than 100 M-170s in existence. Actually, I’ve documented and seen more than 200 and I suspect there are many more I haven’t seen.
“18k is estimated reasonable value. I have that in parts. rotisserie restoration completely stock. Less than 100 exist. Very few restored. This one has everything to make it complete. Rebuilt everything. Has arctic heater kit, full ambulance gear. Full top and doors. Deep water military fording kit It is what that cj6 was derived from. Military show winner. I want to trade for a true hot rod. 30s 40s or 50s. Two door. Something that has or can add ac to. Flathead is plus.”
” I NEED A MACBOOK PRO ? JEEP IS FOR TRADE ONLY WILL CONSIDER TRADE OFFERS BUT I NEED A MACBOOK ! THANKS This is a non titled ranch jeep, it’s a good restoration project.
