About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Andy sent this over a few days ago, due to some back of the house maintenance we decided to hold off posting due to the database entries and post were probably going to be lost, sorry for the delay and lag on posts.
This is a really cool CJ, I think its a later ’46, early ’47, but always welcome help on that, has what looks to be a eariler IGN switch hole set up, but later data plate and grill looks a little later.
This one might come down to the wire currently bidder 32671310, but I would not count out 32690802. They have been batteling this out for a few weeks here overall with some decent interest.
Has quite a lot of features here, some ’57 Chevy parts, Willys Parts, S10.
The number of bids here is pretty impressive.
Good luck to the new owner.
I was hoping to find some history on the names on the side, was able to find that Norman J Allen got his eelctrical license in 1951, Not much on Pete, but there was another Electrical company around eariler in the 40’s, its hard to track it all down but some neat markings on the side of the Wagon.
1952 Willys Overland pickup with a clean Indiana title. This is a very solid truck that spent the majority of its life on the West Coast, very solid frame, and mostly rust-free.
Powered by a mildly built Chevy 350 V8 with a Holley carburetor and MSD distributor. It starts easily, runs strong, and has plenty of torque.
Has the original T90 3-speed manual transmission and original Dana 18 transfer case. The 4-wheel drive works great. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts for improved reliability and starting.
This truck isn’t perfect but has so much character and gets compliments anywhere I go! The odometer shows about 49k Miles but I am not sure if that is accurate. NO TRADES
1966 Jeep J2000 for sale. No title. Used for years as a personal plow and upkept enough to keep it moving. Has sat for a year or so since it was replaced with another truck. Will crank but haven’t had it running in a while. Possibly has one intact brake line. Could be a parts truck, plow or if you have the money and time could be rebuilt. View photos for condition. Frame is pretty solid but has some thin spots with a few holes. It’s not a great condition classic and will need work. Will have to be towed with a flatbed trailer and winch. Pick up only. Cash only. Not really sure on value due to condition so make a reasonable offer.
Nice Willys… new tires, new front suspension, new interior, new steering gear, motor rebuilt, new top and doors, it’s been sitting for the last ten years, driven a couple of times per year. Needs a home where it will be driven.
Unfortunately we don’t have a progressive drive limit on the site I’m in the process of trying to fix that with the host.
We are busting at the seams and there is nothing really wrong with anything just need more room.
So bear with us, enjoy the archive. Search your favorite model and see what you find. Search for pretty much anything you can imaging and Dave probably found it and posted it. Not nuch he did not uncover its really amazing.
Hopefully we get the drive space sorted and figured out, or its just on my end, have a new ISP at the house after last week’s storm we were on Generator for a few days and I switched to my backup ISP which is much better then my standard one just never used it after 3 years. So there are some bugs to work out.
