There is a neat project in the works and we would like your help.

If you have a memory or short story of Dave Eilers you would like to share and could write it out or write out something small maybe in sharpie and put it on a card, piece of paper or send a picture of it we would like to incorporate your contribution.

Size wise, I don’t really know, I was thinking like the size of a normal greeting card the blank inside of one side, if its shorter or longer that’s great too. Index card size might work as well.

Dear eWilly’s readers:

My name is Karson Eilers, and I am David’s eldest son. I regretfully share the news that my dad passed away yesterday. My dad started eWillys because he had a difficult time finding information about vintage jeeps. What he found, and I think what really motivated him to keep building the site, was the community he found on here. He loved engaging with readers, answering questions, and identifying obscure jeep parts. When my dad’s final message was posted our whole family was moved by the outpouring of gratitude and support. We are so grateful to Tim for taking over the site and preserving this piece of his legacy. Thank you, all, for being a part of the eWillys journey!

1951 Jeep Willys Jeepster, runs and Lot drives , does need some work but just got here from Arizona about a year ago and is really solid, 6CYL, manual, Reduced $6250 plus TT&L , has reassigned/rebuilt title , located in Dowagiac Michigan 49047 this is a project vehicle and will need to be trailered, needs work such as brakes work but are weak, has been sitting so probably wouldn’t hurt to put fresh gas in it and could use a tune up but does run an lot drive , PROJECT PROJECT PROJECT

I have a rare 1949 Willys pickup for sale. This truck was manufactured in early 1950 before the model change. Willys decided to go to the rounded fenders, rounded hood, bigger back window and one piece windshield among other features. They titled the early models, before the change, 1949. These trucks became known as the 49 1/2. It has the heavy duty Timken rear end which is 6” wider than the front. I’ve got a used S-10 bench seat and floor mat for it. I also have a 64 parts truck that I was going to use the bed off of.
