These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For Sale is a 1959 Willys Jeep FC170. The truck has a flathead Hurricane straight 6. The drivetrain is all there, but the engine is locked up and is not feasible to get running without a total rebuild. The truck would make a great engine swap candidate. There is some rust in the normal spots but is all very fixable. The frame is near perfect.
There is body damage, as shown in the pictures and the windshield needs to be replaced. It has a good title.
These trucks are getting hard to find. This is a project truck and a really solid starting point.”
“I purchased this car in the late 1960,s. It’s been a project over the last 50 years. There is over $40k invested. Many new parts are installed & included. The Willys runs and the engine is strong. I have original Pink Slip for origional Willys, but wagon is a make up of many different cars.
It is has been chopped 8 inches, has shaved doors, has frenched tail lights, grill has been flipped, front fenders filled to change look, rear wheel wells have had front fender trims welded to body. The body has been professionally welded to the frame. Bodywork professionally repaired.
The Willys sits on a 1986 Buick Regal frame. The donor drive train is a 1990+/- Camaro IROC with 63,000 miles. The motor is a 305 IROC motor with a mild cam with many custom parts added. The transmission from the same car and is a 700R . Many new parts added to the engine & suspension.

This appears to have most of the elements of a Porter & Reed hardtop, except that the rear of the top is rounded. This feels like a transitional top between what was Porter & Reed and whomever purchased the company (if any one did). Early Koenig tops were similar to this, so perhaps Koenig (out of Texas) purchased Porter & Reed (out of Kansas)??

Personal Jeep owned many years by a particular owner. This is a rare early production model built in 1942 by Willys for government issue. (07/25/2019) It’s an interesting mix of parts. I can’t remember seeing another Jeepster on a jaguar chassis.
