About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1948 Willys Jeepster Overland for parts. The floor boards are severely rusted but it has a ton of useable and restorable parts. The drivetrain is complete. All of the frame work for the convertible top is still there. It isn’t really a builder quality chassis but I have seen worse starts to projects! It has NO TITLE. It spent well over 40 years inside a semi trailer. Sold complete only, AS-IS.”
“I am selling a 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A that we’ve owned for 20 years. It is in really good condition for its age with some normal rust under the floorboards which have been repaired. It has a 4 cylinder Willys engine which runs really good. The clutch works great and the 3 speed transmission and transfer case shifts very well. The brakes work as they should. There is some play in the steering wheel. The steering wheel itself is not original as it was replaced by my husband so he could fit in the driver seat! Electrical was converted to 12 volts. The tires are like new and the seats were reupholstered and have no tears in them. It comes with a 6000# Ramsey electric winch with a wired remote control. It also has a tow bar which is included.
Some issues: there is a small oil leak at the rear differential bearing shaft, the passenger side windshield is cracked, the odometer and the fuel gauge are not working and there are some minor electrical issues with the lights.
If you are familiar with the 1946 Willys, you know that it is a good investment if you decide to have it fully restored. For information, the NADAguides list it at $7,450 for Low Retail, $19,100 for Average Retail and $33,400 for High Retail.
I am asking $7,950.00 or best offer. CASH only. Serious inquiries only please.”
This is a ground up restoration with original, NOS, and reproduction parts. It has no serial number or title.
“Note: This Jeeep does not have a title or a serial number. The engine has a serial number but its not correct for this jeep. It will be sold with a bill of sale only. Don’t read any further if you can’t deal with buying it on a bill of sale only. Getting a title is possible through a title company or through the DMV in your state once you purchase it depending on the laws in your state.
Take a look at this beautiful 1944 Willys MB. (Dated by date stamp on axle 6-8-44)
This started out as a rescue of many disassembled Willys parts from a deceased collector in central New Jersey in 2014. The frame was too far gone and missing its serial #plate anyway, so I opted for a new frame from DL Bensingers. Continue reading →
