Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hazzard Fabworx of Spokane has reworked the suspension, power steering, changed out all the fluids, battery, serviced the diffs/transmission/transfer case/overdrive, swapped in disc brakes all around (‘94 Geo Tracker) and installed lap seat belts.
It has an “odd fire” V6 motor, Dana 30 front/Dana 44 rear both with 4.27 gears, T90 3-speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn overdrive. I will say the original overdrive was a Warn but the owner before me had it rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy in Washington, so it’s physically a Husky case now. It also has a Warn 4500 lb winch mounted on the front.
The odometer reads 30k and change. The thing still runs and drives great. It doesn’t burn oil and still has the original VIN plate. The story I got when I bought it was that it was a forestry service jeep in Oregon, hence the decals.”

“3 years of labor and love must go. 48 willys CJ2A, clean title this jeep has almost all new parts. Comes with a
built Corvet 283 with camel back heads 600 cfm edelbrock carb married to a chevy 4 speed trany, new headers and exhaust. Listed are all new parts, brake solenoids brake lines master cylinder and front power disk brakes, shocks, tires, lights, seats, 4 core radiator, hoses, alternator, front and rear bumpers. all LED lights, new painless wiring harness, new paint, rhino lined tub and new finders, tilt steering wheel, drop pedals, heater, windshield wipers, toe bar, back seat, custom half doors, and much more.”

“49 Willies one of a kind Jeep. Featured in Rod Authority Magazine in 2018, this was my daily driver in 2018 and you will not be disappointed with the looks, waves and thumbs up. The trophies from the car shows are also extremely nice! Won an award at each show we have entered.
This ‘one off’ custom has been built right. The body is all original steel. The frame is ‘C notched and boxed’. 400cdi Ford V8, mild cam, Edlebrock Carb, C6 automatic transmission capped off with a Ford 9” rear end.
The top and doors have been chopped. Customer made tonneau cover hides the battery and 13 gallon fuel cell. Custom built 4 link. 46-48 Jeep Comanche 2 wheel drive front end. New pads all the way around, hand made steering wheel, mechanical door latches opened from the interior. US Steel solid wheels, I have 2 additional US Steel wheels that are 20” x 9” with BFG runflats and spacers. If you plan to trailer this you may need to install them to fit on the trailer.
The zoomie exhaust is loud but there are baffles in each tube. Starts, runs and drives like you would expect.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
This looks like a very good price. It includes an extra set of doors along with an extra, standard, M-38 windshield.

“1950 Willys Jeep rod 350 engine 350 trans. Runs excellent, will do 75 down highway. Runs drives stops like it should. It’s 2 trucks turned into one to make an extended cab. Not done by me. Come take a look. Gets tons of questions and looks everywhere it goes. Trans was just serviced with new fluid, gasket and pan. Found something else I want so this is for sale. Tires are brand new Firestone whitewalls and fresh powder coating on wheels. Found something I like and need this to move on, make offer. Let’s make a deal”

Here’s a unique fiberglass Flatfender replica out of South Africa from GP Team. The dash is particularly unique. Apparently, these are in the experimental stage. The bodies will be available with an MB or a CJ style grille.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was R3,500.
This body, branded a “Badger”, looks to be the same body style as the GP Team’s body. The branding was place on the hood, tailgate, and windshield. The Badger appears designed for the VW chassis, while the GP Team body looks designs for a standard Willys chassis.
It suggests to me that GP Team may have bought out the Badger company and removed the Badger brand in favor of Willys.
Here’s an example of oak complete Badger body, which may be designed as a VW body type.
