About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 willys jeep. Needs motor rebuilt or replaced. Frame is in good condition . Tub has patches and some rust. Great offroad project. No title . Led headlights 4×4 . Great mudtruck. It’s the size of a side by side but has the vintage style. Drop a motor In and start offroading again”
“New tub in crate. Rebuilt tranny and engine.New front and rear bumpers.New seat frames. Have title to 46. vin plates for both. Both striped to frame.”
Thanks to Ted for letting me borrow and scan this brochure. It will be the basis of the next poster, though I will be making some changes to it. I *think* this is a 1959ish brochure, as the truck/wagon windshields are still two piece, yet there is no DJ-3A Surrey.
I believe this is a Sears Half-Cab. Thanks to Carl for spotting this one.

(08/25/2018) “This very late edition DJ3A (2WD) Jeep came from Georgia. My regular, run around town, Driver Quality ride, Nicely restored, strictly stock, a tailgate model, three-on-the-tree, and I installed a newly rebuilt l-134 engine. Very dependable, 5 new NDT tires, and a real eye catcher. Has rear seat, beauty rings and “W” hubcaps. Built early Feb. 1964 makes this one of the last DJ3A’s, one of 58 built that month. NOTE: This Jeep is 2WD.”
