This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’ll start this description with that this Jeep is a project and will require a rebuild / restoration to make this vehicle street worthy.
* CJ2A motor that runs pretty well with good oil pressure.
* T84 transmission that does work, But doesn’t go into first gear every time you try. Definitely has wear.
* Shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive fine.
The body is rough, no doubt about it. There is lots of body filler all over. The pictures tell all.
The frame is broken to the rear of the rear spring shackles on both sides, shown in the photos. Can be repaired.
Lots of work has been done on this CJ-5. Listed as a ’56, it has the 0-10 early speedo, so this may actually be a 1955.
