This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New parts: 225 Buick Odd Fire V-6 (professionally rebuilt by Bud Williams), 0 miles, 4 barrel carburetor and high rise; HEI distributor; Headers, 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with Flomasters; Starter; One-wire alternator; Spark plugs and wires; Painless wire kit; Clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing; Beard front seats; Tail lights; Offenhauser valve covers; Remote oil filter kit; 5 quarts break-in oil; 5 quarts running oil; 2 filters for kit.

Has some minor updates.
“I purchased this vehicle from an older gentleman who had owned it for 44 years. He used it in his orchard for several years and then had it in storage for over 30 year. He had done a ton of work on it. The vehicle has rusty floor pans which were replaced properly. He had the body off the frame and had the body work done and painted. About 300 miles ago he had the entire drive line gone through, engine, transmission and transfer case. He had the tranny rebuilt since it had lots of wear.
The leaf springs are all new.
The brakes have all been worked on. The rear drums were able to be turned and were then put on the front with new break pads. The rear drums could not be turned so new ones were purchased but need to be installed along with the brake pads. You can see the hubs and brakes in the picture.
There’s value here. Listed as a 1948, but looks to be a 3A to me.

“This is a 1949 jeepster overland convertible that runs excellent but is a project car. Has: 3 speed on the column, 50lbs oil press, rebuilt carb(could use an adjustment possibly but no big deal), 4 cylinder engine, spare tire, has all the hardware for top but needs a new top, extra chrome, window frames for doors, MILEAGE UNKNOWN. Wipers, heater and top are the only items that need to be completed on vehicle! These cars are pretty rare but seem to be catching the eyes of more and more people because of their uniqueness! Don’t miss out!”
