About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1947 Willys with a 68 Mustang 289 in it everything from the motor back is stock has 33 inch tires great cheap to finish does have a warn overdrive with 3 speed tranny”
“1946 willys jeep cj2a, 12 volt with altanator, stainless steel brake lines, receiver hitch front and rear, lock out hubs, canvas top with doors, very little rust, almost new tires, runs good.”
“Possibly 1944, just a guess, looks to be a later composite body and has the torque reaction spring on the front drivers side. Has CJ2A grill, windshield, and engine. Everything else is WW2 military, Willys MB. Hood has actual blue drab numbers on it under 50 layers of paint. Trans, t-case, axles, frame, all look to be original Willys MB. Body is very rough, frame it patched, rusted, and weak. This sat outside for at least 20 years, it will not run or drive, engine is free and i have gotten it to fire but looks to have a bad head gasket or worse, i would consider it not to be a rebuilder, but lots of good parts. Will roll. Price is OBO.”
“I bought this from the original owners family. It has sat in his garage for nearly 30 years untouched. It has a 1966 small block chevy 327 in it.I got it running, purrs like a kitten,no noises,no smoke no nothing. It has the rare hard to find arctic top on it.And yes it does have the original title with it.Huge winch on it which I believe has never been used.It needs to go to a new home. I need the room for other projects.I will not respond to emails due to spam.”

“1953 CJ5, clean title, body in great shape, not running, 3 speed, 4cl f-head, front drive shaft not installed, seats and gas tank need to be installed, motor needs tuning, hood needs to be bolted on, windshield needs glass. Frame is also in great shape. Body could be a 47 CJ2A. Extra flat head motor if wanted.”
“1948 Willys CJ2A
Non op and runs good. Buick 225 odd fire stroked engine, T90 transmission and T18 transfer case, setup has about 5000 miles since being rebuilt. Dana 44 in rear and Dana 27 with 11″ drum brakes.
Jeep runs, steers and brakes great, all gauges work fine. Jeep need some wiring and body work to finish
up, I am a licensed mechanic and rebuild everything myself, so a phone conversation is best to go over the
engine and running gear.”
