This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/19/2017) It looks like this has two different types of Dualmatic hubs. Driver’s side has the dual lever and passenger the spin type.

“I have 2 jeep projects that I don’t have time for. First is a 1950 CJ3-A, modified frame to have YJ springs, Dana 44 front axle, Dana 44 rear axle T-19 4 speed, dana 18 t-case,TBI 350 Chevy (not installed) and a 302 Ford with bell housings to fit the transmission, drivelines are there, needs to be finished up, body is ok, frame look good, tires are almost new 255/85r16 maxxis bighorn that are sipped and studded, has a title.
2nd Jeep is a basket case CJ-5 with factory axles, no engine, old T-90, old axles, rough body but includes title. Get both for the price of 1. Not looking for any trades, looking for money towards other hobbies.”

“Sellin as-is , does not run. Jeep rolls and can be flat towed. Has plate steel floors, diamond plate bumpers, and a roll cage.
Clear TN Title.
Engine had coolant in crank case. Drained and filled with Rotella 30 weight. Has a Bellevue winch (pre-Warn).
Selling as needing an engine rebuild, wiring harness, body repair, and new interior. It can and will need more.”

“Partially completed restoration project. Was going to be a fathers/sons project, but the sons eventually became more interested in girls, got married and moved out. Over $1400 worth of new parts and lots of old parts. All jeep parts in the pics are included. The tub is a little rough and will need quite a bit of work. When I purchased the jeep it came with both motors. The 134 go devil was sold as an extra and I was told was in good working condition, but I have never tried to start either. As such, we have never attempted to get it running. Was going to wait for that step in the restoration process before working on the engines. The parts painted Army Green (original paint color) have either been professionally sandblasted or wire-wheeled and primed and painted. Also included is the engine stand. Must take all; not parting out. Have title. The 20 ton shop press is in excellent condition and is available for $50.00 extra. Thanks for looking.”

My son spotted the Chocolate jeep shown below at Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction, Colorado. If it is cool enough on his return trip, he’ll bring it home, then ship it to me.

“Selling my 1948 Willy’s CJ2A Jeep. Clear VA title. Permanent 1948 VA plates. Frame is good. Body has rust underneath. Engine was recently rebuilt by Terry Walters, and I have all paperwork. Engine stand included in sale.
Includes transmission rebuild kit, transfer case rebuild kit, original starter rebuilt locally, new clutch kit, new plugs and wires, Besttop soft top and doors, and plenty of other original, new, and NOS parts. Still 6V and includes hard to find parts such as the original oil bath air filter, radiator, etc. I have owned this Jeep for over 10 years, and she drives like a dream.
