About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This 1964 Jeep runs and drives around the yard but hasn’t been on the road in years. It has a clean title. It has a little bit of body rust typical for the age. The floorboards have been replaced by aluminum diamond plate. $2500. Or B.O.”
“I’ve had this for about 10 years. It had a 350 in it but it started knocking so we put a rebuilt 4.3 in it. It need some work on the motor sounds like it’s out of time . I put new tires on it a few months ago
It has a fiberglass body It fun to drive and a good project for someone.”
This initially appeared as a 1941 GP, as that is what was on the title. After a bit of sleuthing, we figured out that this is a 1943 GPW frame with a 1942 GPW body on it.
“For sale 1943 GPW Military Jeep, with a 1942 Ford Script tub. Starts every time and is easy and fun to drive. Very clean World War II jeep shows great in parades and would be perfect for those re-enactors.
There are some additions to the jeep that are not original, updated to 12 volt system, locking hubs and diamond plate on back fenders added by prior owner. Also included are tool pouch, paperback manual, two unopened boxes with contract number that are Shim Cap Sets, and a US military backpack with canteen. Will not ship and I do not need help selling.”
It does have some rust, but if it’s not bad, this could be a good price.

“1946 Willys CJ2 early production vehicle with chassis #13409. Last used in 1980’s complete non-running vehicle. Mile TMU @ 68,077 showing on odometer. Later model V6 Engine, believed to be Buick V6? Great project vehicle. Have other Jeeps & Parts.”
Glenn spotted this DJ-3A. The paint looks nice on this (and nearly matches Patterson). Seller suggests this is a museum quality restoration, but it’s missing hubcaps, the air cleaner hose, and the horn button. It also lacks the windshield twist locks for the soft top and the soft top itself. The passenger side seat looks a little low.

Fun fact. As of today, the last Blockbuster in the US operates in Bend, Oregon.
“1961 Jeep, title says Willys. Was going to be a family project but just haven’t had time. 3 speed manual, runs and drives. Call me with questions. Have a soft top for it with doors.”
