This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rebuilt 225 V6, Turbo 350 rebuilt, model 20 rebuilt, Husky Overdrive rebuilt, mod 25 and 44 differentials, full floating with locking hubs front and rear. Has been in a garage since rebuilding for 30 years. Has 3A windshield, body without a tailgate, fenders, grille, hood, body complete not bolted to the chassis. Frame is a DJ 5 that has been strapped from front to rear. To show its age, it has a set of brand new Desert Dogs on multi spoke Vector wheel”

“’59 Willys Wagoneer. Complete engine, transmission, transfer-case, front & rear end, and suspension from 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) original owner. Welding and set-up done by Brandon Johnson of BC Customs/SXOR Mobility Vehicles in 2005.
Coil suspension, sway bars, steering, is Grand Cherokee and was done right. Boxed frame. New Edelbrock manifold, Holly carb. New drive lines. Motor (318 ci (5.2L) runs. No brakes, no cooling, some surface rust, and floor rust. All fixable. Great project for cool 4×4.
The car has set in a garage for the past 15 years with minimal work. Over $10K invested. I will consider any reasonable offer.”

Seller’s friend describes this as a 1956 “Willys D1”. It appears to be a CJ-3A with an incorrect year.
“Selling for a friend. It is not a Cherokee it is a Willys D1. Facebook will not accept the Willys Make in the field. It has been looked at by 2 mechanics and “runs really good for its age.” It has been sitting a long time and just smokes a little but just needs to run for a while. Major cosmetic defects. It is a fixer-upper. Mileage unknown”
