About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 willys cj2a has short in wiring haven’t had time to go through that have to many other projects. Had the engine overhauled a few years back and starter and generator rebuild about the same time”
“Custom frame, custom rollbar, custom paint, fiberglass body with a 488 posi rearend. No motor no tranny no frontend. Comes with paddle tires. Rearend was built for race and was only driven down one 1/4 mile pass before being pulled out and put in the Willy’s. Just don’t have the time or money to finish it.”
“I have a rolling chassis with tranny, and two tubs as well as some extra parts (fenders, cowl, etc.) which could be used for patch panels. Both tubs have rust, but I believe there is more than enough to make one good one out of the two. I might even know of a L-Head motor if you want to go back to all original.”
This photo of Leigh Tedford at the Great Willys Picnic, taken by her father, shows that rain won’t stop her. That’s her 1951 Utility Wagon to her left and a trophy in hand. Looks like a good day to me!

“1947 Jeep Willys. My dad has owned this jeep for over 50 years. Jeep runs good has some new parts. the jeep is old and so is he. we need to sell it $2500.”
“For sale is a 1944 GPW. This jeep runs and drives currently and is ready for you to take home on its next adventure. The body and frame have matching numbers, though the motor does not. The motor runs strong and is the same as original, it is a civilian engine which means it is 1946 or newer. All of the running gear and 4×4 parts are in working order and it is ready to hit the trail with the whole family. It features the rear seat option and is equipped with a strap on jerry can and spare wheel so you’ll never be stranded. Even the first aid kit is still with the jeep (though I wouldn’t recommend using it). No cracks in the windshield or on the seats.”
