About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1951 Willy’s CJ-3A and it’s a unique one. I’ve got the details but I’ll spare you for now. I do have a title in hand for her. She’s got a state issued VIN but I am the undisputed heavyweight owner of this lovely lady.
Instead of the anemic Go Devil engine, this has the powerful F4-134 engine in it coming in at an eye popping 75 horsepower. When it is ran often, it starts easily and runs clean. I haven’t driven it much this year so it smokes a bit on startup but once up to temp is runs solid and drives as well as a Jeep can. Last year I drove it more so it started and ran like a dream. Looking to part ways with this gal because I don’t have the time, money, or space to work on her and I loathe that she is going to rust away while I get 2 of those 3 things. I’ll regret it as soon as you drive off but c’est la vie. Call/Text: Seven-one-two seven-niner-zero seven-seven-ocho-three”

Dave’s got this CJ-7 for sale.If you have questions, email him a swordbearer347 @ gmail.com (remove spaces from around the @).
“Offered here for sale is most probably the nicest, most original 1978 Jeep CJ7 there is. What is seen in the photographs is all original except for tires and steps. Body, paint wheels, all the chrome and the Warn #8274, 8,000 pound electric winch are all original. There is no detectable rust on/in the body. Inside, the originality continues with seats, dashboard, floor lining and mats. It has a four speed transmission with extremely low first gear. It has 57,413 original miles on it. The engine is the original 258 cubic inch 6 cylinder Jeep motor.
This Jeep has been a “show” Jeep and “garage queen” almost all its life. I’m the third owner as far as I know. The previous owner never had it off pavement. I’ve had it off pavement three times, gently. Flawless performance. It has never been allowed to be stored out of doors. Always garaged. Continue reading →
Dave’s selling this 1961 CJ-5. I did ask about the later body mounted on the chassis and he said that’s the way he bought it. If you have questions, email him a swordbearer347 @ gmail.com (remove spaces from around the @).
“For sale is my 1961 CJ5 Jeep, which I have owned for the last eleven years of its life. If you’ve ever wanted to own one of Jeep’s great CJ5 models that is in excellent mechanical condition, here’s your chance. This Jeep is perfect for trail “Jeeping,” hunting or just to drive around town (which is what I’ve done with this Jeep – I’ve had it off pavement only a few times – flawless performance.) This CJ5 will serve a new owner well and give years of enjoyment. Every system on this Jeep has been rebuilt or reconditioned, most within the past four years. The body, which is in good condition, has not been touched but everything else has.
This particular CJ5 has the Jeep Hurricane 225 cubic inch V6 under the hood; more than enough motor to provide all the power needed. It also has a PTO winch and an overdrive. The V6 engine coupled with the Warn overdrive gives this Jeep more speed than the original engine/gear setup and more than enough for almost anyone!
Here’s a list of mechanical work that has been accomplished since I’ve owned this Jeep.
• BF Goodrich K02 Tires mounted.
• Carburetor overhauled
• Complete suspension rebuild; including Rancho shocks, new leaf springs, shackles, U-bolts & bushings.
• Emergency brake completely rebuilt
• Engine tuned
• Transmission and transfer case removed & rebuilt
• New heavy duty clutch and throw out bearing installed
• New rebuilt Warn overdrive installed
• PTO winch installed/mounted
• Heater system removed/reinstalled with new parts; tested & works as designed
• New & proper clutch linkage & bell crank installed
• New oil pressure, voltage and engine temp gauges installed
• Complete brake rebuild to include new master cylinder and wheel cylinders
• New front wheel bearings and races installed
• Front steering knuckles serviced
• New brake and clutch pedals seals & springs installed
• Battery & cables replaced
• Alternator replaced
• Gear boxes serviced
There could be more, but this is what I have invoices for and what I can remember. Almost all the work has been done by a very reputable Vintage Jeep rebuild/repair/restoration shop in LaPorte, Colorado. This used vehicle is in good condition, but is sold “as is.” No warranty expressed or implied.”
“Great Jeep to cruise around in or for a restoration project. Jeep ran good when parked several years ago. It does have a title Turns over good but currently a leak in the gas line. The gas line has been fixed and it started right up. Located near Wayne NE”
“A little bit of rust in the bed and a little on the front grill, it runs just fine. Mileage is guesswork. Almost 100% original except the bed is welded diamond plate, painted red to match. Interior is in excellent condition. New tires and new battery. Spent her life first on a small farm taking produce to market and then sat in the interior of a Jeep Sales Room as a floor display and driven rarely in local parades. We have a written history but it exceeds the limits on this platform”
“Found this Jeep in a gravel floor garage. Original owner purchased with a few options. Dauntless V6, and warn overdrive! 35,000 original miles!!!!
