About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
All kinds of updates on this one. It has a Bobcat hood.
“we have a 1947 jeep willys with a 350ci conversion, it has a roll cage, harnesses, seats, doors, the suspension is all modified, it has new tranny and case with a doubler, all it needs is to be wired up, not running right now, tons of extra parts, willing to barter”
“Unfinished project 75% done.
Has a lot lot of goodies. Which I will list at bottom of post.
***I cannot stress this enough 75% Done***
I would say if your not a fabricator this is probably not the project for you.
Here’s what it needs;
Transmission tunnel, transmission mount, re hook up break lines, fuel system, steering column needs to be mounted,
*Motor will turn on but obviously needs work to drive. Continue reading →
The holes along the front of this top suggest to me it is a 2A top rather than a 3A.
“I have what I believe to be a soft top and doors for a Jeep CJ3a. I’ve searched Google and it looks like the pics for a CJ3a. The top is made by Kayline and is in excellent condition. It shows some signs of wear but doesn’t look like it was used very much. It’s shiny black and the windows are clear with no yellowing. The doors look a little more used but are still in good shape with clear windows. Unfortunately, I don’t have any hardware. Call or text me if interested.”
“Selling 1947 Jeep CJ2A. $2500 OBO not looking for any trades. Been sitting for several years. Currently not running. The would be a great project for restoration. There are several areas of rust.
Comes with hard top and front tow bar.
Has the 4 cylinder engine.
Will post photos soon.
Buyer would need to bring flat bed trailer to move.”
(01/28/2018) The top doesn’t look like it would hold up well at faster speeds. The jeep has a variety of mods.
“Super fun to own and drive. Pretty much rebuilt when I bought it a couple years ago. Rebuilt six cylinder flat head Studebaker engine, stock running gear, tow bar for front, 2 sets of tires and wheels, manuals, prior owner receipts for work done, two 10 gallon gas tanks under the seats, four extra 5 gallon gas cans, hi-lift jack, Replica 50 caliber machine gun & mini gun, military tool box, ammo cans, replica radio transmitter with working lights in it, front halogen light and two spotlights, antennae base. I made a top for it out of canvas, you can leave it or take it off. Performs really good in sand & desert.Would make great parade vehicle. Open to offers.”
UPDATE: I was sold out, but now have a handful left.
Original is on the left, the reproduction on the right. The colors are closer than they appear, as the original has caught some extra light from the window on the left.

“1960 Willy’s Jeep is mostly all Original, New Electric Fuel Pump, New OEM Muffler, New (4) Brake Cyl’s and Shoes, Recent Oil Change w / Synthetic Oil. Speedometer not working (mileage unknown). It has had a valve job in 1989. I installed two 3 Point Safety Belts, Turn Signal Switch, and Drivers side electric windshield wiper. The top is a makeshift top I constructed just to keep the rain and snow off but needs to be upgraded. I am asking 7200.00 OBO .
I purchased this Jeep last year and I am the second owner.
I am selling it because I am 74 yo and it is difficult for me to get in and out of it. Also I am a large man and I am not comfortable driving it.
I just returned from Moab Ut. and the Jeep is still on the trailer.”
(02/06/2018) This was Sam’s rig. I visited him and saw in person in 2013. It should be a good jeep still.
