About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1959 Willys military jeep all original 6500.00 OBO or trade for 2 post lift or other older vehicle fairly new motor runs and drives have all original shipping documents from Japan current Oregon license”
“I bought this just over 5 years ago in west Texas. It’s been garaged the entire 5 years it’s been in Michigan. According to the previous owner, it spent most of its life in New Mexico. The body has very little rust, quite a few dents and dings, and the frame is in great shape. It seems to be mostly complete. Comes with a replacement used windshield, back window, and side windows. I’ve never tried to get it running, so consider it needing a complete going through. It has the 3-speed transmission and Selectro hubs. Some tires hold air, some don’t for long. It rolls and the engine rotates. The Jayhawk dump apparatus in the bed is not included, however it is listed separately, see my other posting. The transfer case is also not included. I have a clear Michigan title in my name. VIN# 61568 21173”
“I have up for sale a 1950 Military Willys that I got in trade and really have no need for. Pretty cool rig that runs, drives and stops. Its got its original running gear so its not going to break any land speed records. The body has been modified in areas for reinforcement mainly in the back where the tire carrier was added. It has minimal rust however the body is rough as in lots of dents. It does have new tires, new springs and has been converted to 12volt. The headlights are LED and work great and its equipped with a 12k winch that works. I don’t have time for BS so please be serious and only call if your truly interested. No this is not a daily driver, nor is it street legal (no turn signals) and yes it does have a clear title. I may be interested in trades but would rather sell it for cash.
“This Jeep runs, drives, and stops great. The Jeep body does have some patch work and rust through in places, but as is you could daily drive and use it for fun or pleasure if you’d like. The frame looks great compared to most I see and very original. The engine runs smooth and strong and is the original 134L flathead 4. The original T90 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly. 4 wheel drive operates as it should. The top is in good shape overall. The button snaps are pulled loose in a few places.
I will be adding to this Jeep here and there while it’s listed. I plan to build the Jeep according to the body tub. Basically back into the M38 military style if it doesn’t sale soon.
This Jeep also has a clear title and can be driven on the road.
If your looking for an original classic Jeep that you can hop in and drive where ever you want then here you are An original early flat fender Willys Overland Jeep.”
(03/18/2018) This runs and drives, but could use some polish.
“1954 Willy’s Pickup, 4 Wheel Drive, 134 F head engine, converted to 12 V, Runs down the road without a problem, has turn out hubs, recent brake work and rebuilt carb. Some rust in the cab corners and bed. A variety of spare parts and wheels included.”
“HIS IS A UNIQUE JEEP PICKUP BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE A SNUB NOSE. THE FRONT OF THE RIG IS FLAT LIKE IT WAS HIT IN THE FRONT, BUT WAS JUST THE DESIGN. IT WAS ACTUALLY A VERY COOL LOOKING TRUCK. THE UNIT REQUIRED WEIGHTS UNDER THE BED TOWARD THE REAR SO IT WOULD NOT TIP ONTO ITS NOSE. THIS HAS A 4 CYLINDER ENGINE IN IT AS IT IS BASICALLY A HALF TON AND MOST OF THE FC 170 TRUCKS WERE AN INLINE 6 CYLINDER AS THEY WERE DESIGNED AS A 3/4 TON. IT HAD 4WD AND WAS A STICK SHIFT WITH NO SPECIAL AMENITIES LIKE A/C. Continue reading →
