About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Selling my 1948 Jeep Willys CJ2A. Comes with the original go devil engine. Comes with a half cab top. Roll bar. Tow bar. Multiple doors. Multiple tops. Heater and more stories that you can only imagine….”
Originally posted August 14, 2019: Daniel Strohl reported on Hemmings that the CJ-5 used to circumvent the earth will spend a year at the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame. You might remember that the Upton’s made it around the world in 1984, well all but a small, but a difficult mile of their trek in the Middle East proved impossible to complete. For two decades they held onto the jeep, then they eventually fixed it back up and drove the last mile in the Middle East in 2017.

(03/05/2024) The seller is correct; this is a classic PNW build, with the Desert Dogs, a V6, the diamond plate corners, the diamond plate side pieces, the Bobcat Hood, along with other updates.
“The time has come for me to sell my 1946 CJ2(ish) little beast. It’s sporting a Buick 198 fireball, t90, bobcat hood, Cadillac telescopic column, rather beat up 64 corvette seats, full set of Desert Dogs, ect ect. The top is pretty beat up but keeps the weather out about as well as you could hope. All and all a great example of a classic PNW jeep. It runs and drives but could certainly use a tune up as I’ve not been driving it much at all (hence the sale) Mainly looking for cash but could be open to trades for a newer jeep that would be more daily driver friendly”

“1964 Jeep F/C 170. 6cyl flathead hurricane 226. New starter, tires, paint. Needs radiator, runs good. No trades. More pics later this week. If this ad is still posted it’s still for sale. Will be deleted when sold”
“1965 Jeep Fc 170 wrecker. Original Dealer installed Canfield wrecker, new tires, brakes, and spun aluminum fuel cell. Has typical Fc rust in cab corners. Runs and drives. Wrecker operates. $6000 firm.”
Peter is selling this pair of items. The half cab doors are missing glass, but otherwise look in good shape. You can reach him via phone or text at 715 630 3584
Only a couple days left in this auction with no bidders. Bill shared this CJ-5 with an unusual hardtop. It also appears to have the Hudson Steering mod. The mileage is only 40,138 miles, but the co-part auction listed that as 401,389 miles. The front fenders have been extended as if the frame is a 1972 or later frame. I think the estimate $8500 value is way out of line, but there seems to be some parts value at the very least.
“1945 CJ2 military cold weather rig. Inclement weather top and doors 4spd Dana 44 front 35 rear New painless kit under driver’s seat needs hooked up I don’t respond to the “is this still available” BS so don’t waste everybody’s time. $2000. “Was bought as the body, but my grandfather spent a couple of years working on it. He is no longer able to get in and out of it. It has a 4.3 GMV6 engine, new leaf springs, new differential, new tires, power steering, tilt steering wheel, hubs, bucket seats, new tie rods, new shocks, and an aftermarket 14 gallon gas tank. Only needs a gas gauge sending unit.”
“Parts cj5 no title no longer has windshield hard top doors, does run and move. Burns oil V6 3 speed. Will come on wheels and tires in pic. Not really looking for trades but open to offers looking to sell to finish my other cj”
