About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a diamond of an antique auto, barn find original owner kept it in a heated garage.for most of its life, has all maintenance records n original title n owners manual.selling locally also so listing can end anytime unless bid is made.classic time piece.”
“I picked this up as a barn find about three years ago without seat frames, seats, wheel/tires, etc.
I have a considerable amount of time and money into it to get to this point.
Here are the details:
Clear title in hand.
The tires are brand new with less than 5 miles on them.
Seat covers are brand new.
Engine has good compression, starts and runs fine. Transmission shifts as expected.
Top has some yellowing on the clear plastic and a zipper that needs to be fixed. I understand there is a product that can mitigate that issue. Continue reading →
“For sale is a custom 1947 Willys CJ2A. The jeep itself is about 80% of the way done. It needs some light electrical and brake work, I am selling because I have too many vehicles and not enough time for this one. This jeep will make one cool camping rig when finished. Specs are as follows:
– Body is stretched 12″ and on a scout ii frame
-Chevy 350 engine with np 435 4spd transmission and dana 20 transfer case
– Dana 44 axles with 4.27 gearing
Included with the jeep are new headers, a new battery, a rear bumper and misc parts. Jeep is titled as a 47 willys. Will need to be towed by buyer as I don’t have access to a trailer.”

“CJ2A Jeep project
This project will suit the rock crawler
Here’s what I’ve got in parts
3/4 ton eight bolt pattern axles that have been shortened (Don’t know the gear ratio)
Square tube frame
CJ2A flat fender Jeep body
1967 Chevy One ton 350ci engine w/4 speed trany (should have 4 bolt main 202 valves)
Remote hydraulic steering set up
Don’t have pics , I would like to deal with people that are knowledgeable about this.”
“CJ2 body tub with Ax and Shovel indents like the WWII Willys MB or Ford GPW; AND it has the tailgate in the back like the CJ2A’s. It is in restore-able condition. All the body fabrications/sub-assemblies are readily available on line. Not the greatest shape; but rare enough that it is worth restoring over the standard CJ2A body. Will fit in a full size pickup.
This tub could always be fitted with the gadgets to carry the Ax and Shovel – all the gadgets, straps, and even ax and shovel are available on line. It probably wouldn’t be stock to do this but it would be cool!
Asking $550. Would consider trading for other early flat fender parts. ”
“1942 willys jeep buick V6, 3spd with overdrive. Lots of chrome inside and out. Check out the pictures $20,000 or best offer. Serious inquiries only no joyrides. Will consider trades for hot rod of equal value no motorcycles.”
