Engine spins.
“1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A Go Devil L-Head 4 cylinder engine. I don’t have any of the details on the motor because we just purchased it and we are going a different route with the drive train. Everything seems to be in place. It is not locked up and does turn over. We were told it ran a few years ago when we bought it but we never planned to keep it. Also, the tub is available if anyone needs parts to repair another tub. It has the normal rust spots and I didn’t want to deal with fixing them.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

This set has been fully restored. They have been thoroughly cleaned, wire wheeled, sand blasted then powder coated. Not Painted!! New Dualmatic sticker on the center of the cap. These will even come with the correct stainless steel dual-tab lock washers that have seemed to all but disappeared. The stainless steel mounting bolts are not included, however the cleaned originals will be. Continue reading
Blaine remembered watching the TV show Gentle Ben and seeing a Tux Park CJ-5. Recently he began searching on line and discovered he was right. Dennis Weaver played game warden Tom Wedloe. Tom drove a Tux Park CJ-5. You can see a couple photos that Blaine found below:
This video was shared on Facebook. The first half of the video focuses on rubber tire substitutes using a jeep as a test vehicle.
The auction on eBay ended, but I thought this was an interesting photo.
