This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have an old Jeep with a straight 6 Ford motor in it. I have recently replaced the battery, spark plugs, coil, distributor, carburetor, fuel pump and filter, and ignition switch. It fires right up first try. It has four wheel drive with locking front hubs. Everybody who see it says it’s a collectors item. It has a three speed transmission in the floor. It runs and drives. It’s very loud on the inside. The back opens up and locks into place and the doors will come off. One of a kind. Brand new tires. All lights and turn signals work the way the are supposed to.”
