This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** on eBay for $2020.
“This is a project I started, and found out I just don’t have time to complete…. I have over 4500$ invested plus the time to install rear brakes, floor, get running properly etc…the running gear of this truck is what truly drives the value, making it a viable project. If buy it now is used, I will include home made flatbed, with fiberglass tool boxes(will include a pic later)I WOULD NOT BE SELLING except my wife says it needs to be gone…. my loss is your gain…..”

Seller lists this as a 1948, but it’s a DJ-3A body. I messaged the seller to let him know.
“This is Parts only Willys Jeep tub , can be fixed and used I don’t need it . It has rust and is rough . Dash and gauges are there . I do have 2 front fenders also that are rusty but repairable for $100 each”

“WWII Ford GPW Jeep engine, will need to be sleeved, no cracks that I can see, comes with crank, caps, head, rods. Serial number 53768.”
GMWillys and his lovely wife visited the Birmingham Alabama’s Southern Museum of Flight the other day and took some photos for us. He notes that the museum is fairly impressive, given the relatively small space. And, the jeep count is at three: an M-38, an M-38A1, and a CJ-V35. See the pics below.

This spec sheet is a rare one. It’s not clear to me how the seller arrived at the 1953 date.

Has some updates, include a Vortex V-6.
“1946 Jeep Willys original body and drive train. 3 speed T-90 transmission with 4 wheel drive. Warn Locking hubs. This jeep had a new paint job. interior is rhino lined. all lights and gauges function as they should. comes with an original and extremely rare 1947 removable dually kit, that was sandblasted and repainted. It is currently on the vehicle. It can stay on or can be removed as desired. Has a modified engine with a Vortec v-6 rebuilt with under 100 miles on it.
The seats have been recovered and look new. it has a CJ-3A windshield because i liked the look better than the CJ 2-A. functioning driver side wiper. I also have the blinker set up that i haven’t set up yet. Starts on the first turn. Was converted to a 12volt alternator. rear disc brakes. color combo is beautiful. has minor imperfections but this is not a repro body. Has all the hardware for a canvas soft top. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a jeep willys with real temporary dually…I’ve searched for over 20 years to find the dually kit.
