This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A few months ago a writer for Jalopnik thought this GPW would be a good buy, titling an article “You Can Buy An Incredibly Well-Restored WWII Jeep Willys/Ford For $19,500”.
Unfortunately, the jeep is not quite so well restored. The first obvious clue? The CJ-2A windshield. It just goes to show how difficult it is for most folks to recognize a stock jeep. (I’m not sure if I ever listed this one on Craigslist, so the below pics is the only one I’ve got to share).
