This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s got some dents and dings, especially that front bumper. Has some EasyLok hubs. Unclear why the parking brake was moved down.

“This jeep was my project in high school about 5 years ago. It’s been kept in the garage since then. Starts and runs like a champ, the engine (original 4 cylinder L-head) was rebuilt just before I got it, so very low hours. We had the transmission rebuilt, shifts like the day it was built. Body and paint (’46 Harvest Tan scheme even though this is a ’47 by serial number) is in excellent condition, interior protected with color matched bed liner. Hat channels are like new, no rust.
