Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for a NO-RESERVE auction is my 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. This CJ2A is in great condition. I recently picked this one up and the previous owner had it stored for the last 3 years or so in a heated shop. It retains all of the stock running gear with a few aftermarket additions. It has a mild lift with new shackles, helper leafs and shocks. A new set of wheels with almond shell, studded recap tires have been mounted.

“1946 Jeep Willys. New metal body and floorboards, new electrical, and custom seat frames. This jeep has the original 2 stick, 3 speed transmission which makes it perfect for going on the beach! International engine. Runs great. Could use some new tires and seats but is fully functional.”

“This is a near complete O.E.M. body. I am including a complete Cj3a as a donor Jeep for the project. It is a thirty year collection of original panels now available for sale as one unit. Please email me if you are interested in taking a look. It can be seen about ten miles east of Hershey PA.”
