“Selling my beautiful 1947 CJ-2A Willys.
Just installed brand new T-90 transmission, D18 transfer case, 30% overdrive, and emergency brake. Has brand new Bestop soft top, all new electrical wiring, new electric windshield wipers, carburetor newly rebuilt, new plugs and plug wires, new electronic ignition, new 12V starter, battery, new gauges, new drivers side mirror, new shocks, and new metal fuel lines, as well as all fresh fluids. Seats have been recently recovered, tires are newer Super Traxxion 6.50×16.
It needs the overdrive shift linkage kit ($78.00) and floor plate and rubber boot ($18.00). Horn needs to be wired. Willys runs but needs someone who knows how to tinker and tune it to perfection.
I have lots of extras including the original oil bath, some new seat belts, and external handles. It also comes with a brand new heater ($399) that needs to be installed. I have almost $18,000 invested and need to sell it”

Ran when parked ten years ago.
“1946 willys. Sat in a feild for 10 years but ran when parked. I haven’t gotten it running but it is pretty complete. My guess is it needs a battery carburetor and spark plugs but very well could eed more than that. Would make a great parts truck or farm vehicle. Apparently it’s pretty easy to get a title for these things but it doesn’t have one now.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.

Looks like some value here. P# on the windshield.
“1948 CJ2A. This is NOT an actual military Jeep, someone just painted it up to look like one. Originally bought it to part out, but decided against it because it is mostly all there and very restorable for someone looking for a good project. (We have 2 others, don’t need a 3rd project!) This one has no title, it hasn’t run at all since I’ve had it. Engine turns over, it isn’t locked up or anything. Engine has WWII Ford GPW cylinder head, but the block is a later model. T90 transmission. Body is solid, but rusty (like most of them) and has had some shoddy repair work done over the years (like all of them). Price is negotiable, but I won’t give it away. I know what these things are worth and they aren’t making anymore of them! I live in Bowling Green, but the Jeep is located at my Dad’s house in Danville, KY.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Nice USCG-related photo.
