“I’m selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A. It’s been a fun project but it’s taking more time than I have to offer. The Willy’s comes with about 1500 in new parts (I already installed all the suspension components). New gas tank, shifter, throttle cables, fuel lines, carb kit, distributor, air cleaner, fuel pump and many, many other parts.
The transmission is missing gears, but I’ve got the body so you can hopefully recoup that core charge.”

Canadians Kurt Luchia and his father Perry, who was suffering from Parkinson’s, rebuilt a 1956 CJ-3B. This past summer (2018) Kurt drove it from Melfort to Moose Jaw, Canada (355 KM), to raise $3550 for Parkinson’s research. You can read the article here:

For comparison, two years earlier, in 1971, this ad below was published in PNW4WDA Region 1 directory.
A 1970 Four Wheeler article that introduced the Bobcat body to folks outside the Pacific Northwest featured this logo, which was used in both ads above.

I think this is the first truck on a later model Jeep chassis that I’ve seen. Appears to have worked pretty well.
