Listed as a 1947, this appears to be an early 1946, as it has the tool indents. I’m not sure how the seller decided upon the “original ID numbers” for the hood.

“I bought this Jeep 2 years ago with the intent of using it as a second vehicle. It soon became obvious that it was to good at the tender age of 70+ years to put on the road on a daily basis. The original “Go Devil” L134 engine has been rebuilt. The original body with the exception of a few patches (See dashboard pic) is in excellent shape. Electrical system has been converted to 12 volt. Transmission, Transfer case, and Front locking hubs all in excellent working condition. I re-wired lights so that I could have signal lights, re-built the master cylinder, replaced the brake arm to correct “pedal wobble,” and replaced front end brake lines. Finally I re-painted the hood with original ID numbers and the “Broken” Invasion Circle Star. Tires are good, but in order to complete the “Military Look” it should have military tires (around $500 for a set).
There is also a canvas top (see last pic), but since it is not military, I removed it. It will go with the sale.
This is an excellent running Jeep at an excellent price. Price is firm. Please contact me only if you are a serious buyer.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $5900
(07/06/2018) It’s supposed to run and drive.
“Selling a 1957 JEEP FC150. This is a very unique and cool looking truck. This truck spent most of its life in the west as it has very minimal body rust. The underbody is in great condition and is very solid. This FC will runs and drives
For what the truck would need to my knowledge would be a carb rebuild, new gas tank and the glass is cracked. Interior (two seats) need recovering. However its a great project and would look amazing when finished, i just don’t have the time. I’m here to sell”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
The body’s rear wheel wells have been cut for a crawler.
“1946 flat fender, complete body minus windshield, custom frame, Ford axles, set up for small block Ford, No motor, trans or trans case, clean nevada title, cash, no trades”
The Henry Ford Museum’s digital collections contain a few interesting photos. It appears all of them can be purchased:
2. These images appear to be frame drawings for the Ford GP. The images aren’t reproduced well:

3. This image purports to be a December 1941 drawing of a set of GP springs, but by that time, Ford was gearing up for the GPW.
