Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Just seeing if anyone is interested in possibly buying my adventure rig. It’s a super rare 1975 CJ6 (factory extended CJ6). Has a 258 straight 6 that’s bulletproof with about 20k on it. Has brand new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot, fork pivot, etc. Super fun jeep. Make me an offer”
Drain holes have been filled. Looks solid.

“Daily driver, V6, Overdrive. Runs good. Comes with extra parts,body tub, grill,master cylinder,body mount kit, clutch disc and pressure plate….etc. Original era hard top, bikini top. Has 2 heaters to keep warm in winter.”

This runs and drives. Has some rust, but not as bad as many I’ve seen.
“About 15+ years ago I fixed the 1959 FC-150 to use on our property.
I put in a 2000cc Ford overhead cam engine.
Rebuilt the transmission
New brake linings for parking brake on transfer case.
All new steel brake lines & flexible lines; wheel cylinder; master cylinder; brake shoes.
Radiator was recored; switched to 12V, etc.
Wife used it to haul water for garden; take away branch clippings and some firewood.
Has been parked under cover since then.
Runs, drives, stops.
Heater core has developed small leak. Believe intermediate bearing in transfer case is bad.
Has non-original seats.
Does have lower body rust. Pickup bed is pretty solid and straight.
Kids shot up passenger side glass and put a few BB marks on back window.
I have 2 FC doors with glass that will go with it.
Have a New York State transferable registration.”

“Priced reduced.
Selling my ’58 Willys Jeep 4 wheel drive. – Runs, Drives, Stops. Engine = 134 ci 4cyl. – 60 year old. I bought it for hunting but hunting, I replaced the original engine with a professional rebuilt. Spent some time in Santa Maria/Ocean dunes before I got it So, Yes there is rust. Good farm/ranch/hunting use but would not recommend for highway use. Top Speed about 55mph. Current tags/license/title
Odometer reads 5xxx but I know it was replaced (not original) I think from a later model CJ5.”

“Don’t make me turn this into a yard art planter. 1952 Willys Model CJ3-A, I believe, but with a slightly later F134 OHV Hurricane engine. Pto transmission.
Drivetrain is complete – interior is your open canvas! No serious rust, very solid. I do have two foldable seats you can also have if you like. Thought I wanted a cool project but then reality caught up. I did get it cleaned up and running – sounded great – but just don’t have the facilities/tools/know how at this time to continue. Wishful thinking! NO TITLE NO TITLE NO TITLE! Call/text or come have a look but please don’t waste my time. There will be no email/internet nonsense, cash in person only.”
I can’t remember where I found these photos of an unusual house-like top on a MB/GPW.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $380. I’ve contacted the seller and explained what he had (apparently, someone else had called him, too). He’d like to find this a good home.
(08/02/2018) This is likely the only Muller top to be found that’s not installed on a jeep (See the directions for making a Muller top here). It’s a great piece of history.
“Selling a hard/soft top for a M-38 CJ-3A or Dispatcher Jeep. I’ve never seen another top like this one before. My dad bought this over 30 yrs ago to put on his flatfender. But it never was installed. And now I own the Jeep but it won’t fit over the cage. It’s got a metal/wood frame it looks like a soft top from the outside but is full framed with a headliner. The doors and side,rear windows all store in a compartment inside the roof . No tears or rust it’s dirty but it’s been stored indoor’s as long as we’ve owned it. I’m running out of room so it’s up for sale”
