This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling a nice WW2 USMC jeep. It started life as a mz2 radio jeep used to send radio messages from shore to ship. It has never been off its frame as it still has its original frame bolts. Does have a grill and windshield just off of it currently. Comes with 3 motors and a bunch of other radio parts but will sell without the radio parts for cheaper.”

“Restored 1947 driven very little since resto. New interior, new Best-top. Condition is original and speaks for itself. I do not need help selling this vehicle-pls. do not ask. Texts will be returned, but very slowly.”

Serial number is supposed to be #10665.
“Willy’s Overland CJ2A 1945. Serial number 10665 The good: Rare model only 1824 were produced. All serial number plates are intact. Rare three speed column shift. Drive train all intact. All gauges are intact. Tailgate is in good shape. Comes with metal cab. The bad: Frame is completely gone. Tub has been covered with sheet metal and might be salvageable. Windshield is rotted. No paperwork except bill of sale from the last owner. It was last registered in 1985 in RI”

“1959 Willy’s wagon project. New tires, new fuel system (tanks,pump,and lines.) New head liner. Have new replacement glass and gaskets. Mostly installed. New master cylinder. Does run and drive. Carb probably needs to be tuned. Still needs a new wiring harness and some trims pieces and odds and ends.”
