About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This rarely available postcard popped up on eBay the other day. Given the grilles on the wagon and truck, plus the FC-170 pictured, I’d say this is a late 1957 postcard.
“I have for sale my 1948 Willy’s. I hate to sell but we bought a house and need the money for projects, this jeep is a “restomod” powered by a Buick dauntless v6 bolted to a t-18 4 speed and a Dana 20 transmission, the jeep also has a warn overdrive and Chevy axles. We have a soft top, bikini top and a spare wheel and tire to go with. Everything works as it should and boy does it get attention, I am not in a rush to sell however feel free to reach out with any questions thanks!”
“1952 Willy’s CJ3A 350 Motor I am helping a neighbor sell it after her husband passed away. I don’t know a ton about the Jeep but it runs great. We live on Palomar Mountain and the price is OBO”
“cj2 straight rust free tub with good mechanical s except needs master cyl. Runs -shifts-4×4 all works well. Plow hydraulics also work. Can deliver for extra cost. Reduced for quick sale”
This is a nice looking Jeepster Convertible. It might need some mechanical work.
“My father moved and I was left with some vehicles including this really fun jeepster, my grandfather was the 2nd owner in 1969 and it’s been in the family ever since, sad to see it go but I just don’t have the passion/ time and need to find its next owner on its journey! It starts and runs, the brakes and clutch need some work (mechanic friend took a quick peek at it) it’s cover has some wear and would probably need to be replaced , there is one missing panel I have been trying to locate through the move but without luck . One of the windows has trouble going up and down. Just an old but loved car and no one in my family has the time/experience to work on it!
No seatbelts , I see it being a great vehicle for a cabin, small town, ice cream run vehicle. I’d love to find someone that knows these hard to find vehicles and give it the love it deserves !”
“Introducing the Budson! Project custom 1948 Willies Wagon, Chrysler 225 slant 6, 3 speed manual, Dana 18, power brakes. Runs pretty good, moves around the yard, needs wheel cylinders before it could be on the road, shoes looked good. Good tires on 15in rims, new battery and fuel pump. Got it in trade a bit ago, and I just can’t seem myself ever wheeling it like I want to. Needs some work, but I don’t think it would take much to get it on the road. If you look up “Willies Budson”, you can find an old post about it detailing a bit more about all the pieces it has. Clean title in hand, located in Lebanon, OR. $6500, or maybe a partial trade for a street legal dual sport motorcycle like a Yamaha TW200 or a Jeep J-pickup.”
“1941 Ford Jeep; was an MP Jeep tricked out by the army Corp of engineers. Rebuilt 2000 miles ago by Max-Bilt. Looking to trade for older FJ, $15000 to $20000 or best offer. Also interested in trading for a 30HP or skid steer, or anything else interesting. Was told by Max-Bilt Off-Road that it’s worth $25000 without plow, and plow is not included. Currently camo paint.”
“I’m selling my 1960 Jeep/Willys FC-150 project. This has had a lot of work done and is well on its way to being drivable, I just don’t have the time to commit to it. The Jeep has a ALH TDI motor with an upgraded mechanical injection pump and larger turbo, AW4 automatic transmission, Dana 300 transfercase, and scout Dana 44’s front and rear. The frame has been redone and has been fitted with OME YJ leaf springs, the bed has been done and the cab corners and rust have been repaired in the body. I have two sets of seat for the interior. All body parts are in the bed. Also have several boxes of other parts for steering and other miscellaneous things to finish. These aren’t easy to find so please do you research and only contact me if you serious. $7000 obo”
“Hard to find Jeep FC170. 4WD. Excellent plow truck. Bed items not included. Good Title. Jeep is located in Fountain City Wisconsin. $9,500. Runs, drives and stops.”
